- This OEM (original equipment manufacturer) pressure balance cartridge 974-321 can be used with 0X8, VB8, JV8, and JX8 valve assemblies. This cartridge features ceramic disc technology and can be used with the legacy deep cast valve bodies using the included adapter. The adapter is not required for valve bodies manufactured after 2015. Product not compatible with acrylic knob 940-240, which requires the 974-042 cartridge. - Perma Balance technology provides reliable temperature control and helps prevent hot or cold surges
- High temp limit stopper sets a maximum heat limit and helps prevent scalding; must be set during installation
- This cartridge can be used as a replacement for the older two-piece models illustrated in the line drawing.
